Information Regarding the Protection of Personal Data;

At Klotho MAIA, we attach great importance to the processing and storage of your personal data in accordance with the Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data ('the Law'). We would like to inform our customers about our purposes and methods of collecting, processing, and transferring personal data, and consequently, your rights arising from the Law.

1. Methods of collecting personal data

As Klotho MAIA, acting as the data controller, we collect your personal data verbally, in writing, or electronically through verbal communication, our website, social media platforms, mobile applications, and similar means, within the scope of our legal obligations arising from legislation, for purposes such as enabling you to benefit from the services of our brands, informing you about our campaigns with your consent, recording your suggestions and complaints, establishing better service standards for you, and determining and implementing Klotho MAIA's commercial and business strategies.

2. Processing of personal data and purposes of processing.

As Klotho MAIA, in our capacity as data controller, we may obtain, record, store, retain, modify, update, periodically check, reorganize, classify, and retain your personal and/or sensitive personal data, obtained with your consent, through our call centers, written communication channels, social media pages, mobile communication channels, in-store communication channels and/or any other channels, including but not limited to these; and may share/transfer this data, in cases of legal or service-related actual necessities, with private or legal entities that Klotho MAIA collaborates with, or with public institutions and organizations to which it is legally obligated, and/or with relevant third-party individuals/legal entities residing in Türkiye or abroad; and may transfer it abroad in cases of legal or service-related actual necessities.

Klotho MAIA informs you that we may process your personal data for purposes such as enabling our customers to benefit from our brands' services, informing you about our campaigns with your consent, recording your suggestions and complaints, establishing better service standards for you, determining and implementing Klotho MAIA's commercial and business strategies, and in any case in accordance with the Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data and related legislation.

3. Transfer and Sharing of Personal Data

Klotho MAIA may share your personal data only with your explicit consent or within the framework of the security and confidentiality principles specified in the Law, provided that adequate measures are taken, both domestically and internationally, for the purposes of conducting company activities, maintaining business relationships between data subjects and our customers and/or conducting negotiations for this purpose, offering services, opportunities and possibilities, and improving service quality; with our group companies, business partners, customers with whom we have agreements and to whom we provide services as required by our activities, suppliers, auditing companies, or public institutions or organizations authorized to request this data due to a legal obligation, and other relevant authorities, including but not limited to these.

At Klotho MAIA, we request personal information such as name, age, interests, and email address to better serve our customers. This collected information is used for periodic campaigns, personalized promotions tailored to customer profiles, and classification studies to prevent unwanted emails.

4. Rights of the Personal Data Subject as Listed in Article 11 of the Personal Data Protection Law ('Law')

Klotho MAIA will respond to the following requests from the relevant individuals:

a) To find out whether Klotho MAIA processes their personal data and which personal data it processes.

b) Obtaining information regarding the purposes of the processing activity,

c) Knowing the third parties to whom Klotho MAIA transfers personal data, domestically or internationally.

d) Requesting the correction of personal data if it has been processed incompletely or incorrectly.

e) Requesting the deletion or destruction of personal data in accordance with the law.

f) In case of a request for correction, deletion or destruction of personal data; requesting that the actions taken be notified to third parties to whom the personal data has been transferred,

g) The right to object to an outcome that is detrimental to the individual, resulting solely from the analysis of processed data by automated systems, and

h) Obtaining copies of your personal data.

Klotho MAIA Online Shop requests certain personal information from its customers (name, age, interests, email, etc.) in order to provide better service.
